After Missing the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships and the IAAF World Outdoor Championship, Elijah Hall is Looking for a Strong Senior Season at Houston

Elijah Hall missed three of the most important competitions in 2017 due to injury.

Hall's injury troubles started indoors when a hamstring injury kept him from competing at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

He recovered, only to suffer a second hamstring injury at the NCAA Division 1 West Preliminaries. That kept him from competing at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Then after finishing third in the 200 meters at the USATF Outdoor Championships, Hall was eligible to represent the U.S. at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in London. He did not make the trip. Instead, Hall stayed home to focus on healing.

Peter Scamardo of the Daily Cougar reports that Hall is set to return to the track for his senior season. His first race since the USATF Outdoor Championships could come Dec. 9 at the Reveille Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M.
